MAJOR:

Chat rooms.

Configurable web services - Web services for shares and for
searchresults (maybe add Web services into the edit-menu as
global accessible feature?)"

Download groups (as in xMule).

Automated search feature, like MLAutosearch.

MINOR:

Searching.
- "extend search" (does this functionality anything except doing the same
search remotly on all enabled networks again? - that is what -1 means I
guess. it looks quit useless for me cause I didn't note
  differences on the orginal GUI)
- better filters, some kind of dialog to be able to define filterrules.

Would be nice to have filters for downloadlist too.

Server action missing: view users. (Do we even want to implement this?)

Easier accessibility for file sources - maybe implemented as a dock window
in the download list.

Some way of hiding list columns the user doesn't want.

As many actions as possible should come with predefined shortcuts.

More tooltips and whatsthis help.

If it turns out to be doable, a Kopete plugin for eDonkey messaging would
be an interesting addition.

For the download list, a column showing number of available/complete sources
as numerical values.

Don't open multiple file info dialogs for the same file.

An option for the applet's tooptip to show the status fields not being
displayed rather than the help text.

Make use of protocol 19's client upload field to display current uploads.

FOR KDE 3.2 (when 3.1 compatibility is no longer desired):

Fix .desktop files to use the freedesktop standard.

Convert settings dialog to use the new KConfig* stuff.

Get rid of the ClosableTab classes and use KTabWidget directly.
