News in release 0.5
===================

are not installed automatically, this must be done by the user. See
the documentation for more information.

it is sufficient to omit the patches entry in the package file.

News in release 0.4:
====================

Upmf can now apply patches automatically. See the documentation for more
details on patch handling.

News in release 0.3:
====================

Upmf uses a simplified package format. Instead of the old hash table
construct, an association list is now used. The new package format
is covered in the manual. Updated package files are available for
download in an archive file.

The new package format supports releases. It is represented in the
package files with a list of pairs, where the car is the version string
and the cdr is the release URL.

Upmf provides a new option ‘--search (-s)’. When supplied, Upmf searches
for all packages containing the argument in their name.

The character for option ‘--version’ changed to ‘-V’.

The documentation was updated to correspondent to the new Upmf.
